Advanced Specialty Diver

This is a rating like no other. Other agencies do not have an equivalent rating for this, and it is considered a “more advanced” diver rating because instead of just doing 5 trial dives of 5 specialties, you need to complete 4 specialty courses of your choice and have at least 24 logged dives. It can be done in 2 – 3 weekends depending on your choice of specialty courses. Recommended specialty courses: Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Night and Limited Visibility, Underwater Navigation, Waves Tides and Current, Science of Diving or Perfect Buoyancy.

Advanced Open Water Diver

This course is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will try out 5 different specialties. You will complete one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. With this trial program in specialty diving, you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full specialty programs any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.
