Metro Divers is not liable for any injuries that happen during training that is related to the student’s condition/s. Dive Assure Dive insurance is included for the duration of your course.
Cancelations on pool sessions made less than 48 hours before the session, unless for health or emergency purposes, will forfeit the pool session, and a remedial class must be scheduled. Remedial classes are Php 3,800 per person per session.

In the event that the student is unable to complete the program after beginning digital learning for any reason, no additional cancelation fees will be charged, but the registration fee will be forfeited.
In the event that the student is unable to complete the program after starting in-person training for any reason, he/she will still be charged the full course fee.
The student must make at least 80% on the written exams to pass. The student may take the exam as many times as they want.
It is the student’s responsibility to provide their complete information, including mailing address, in order for Metro Divers to process certifications more efficiently.
Certifications and recognitions will be processed once full payment has been made and the student has no outstanding charges.

Fun Dives
All bookings are only considered booked/reserved/confirmed upon receipt of required downpayment, payable within 15 days of booking. Cancelation of booking will forfeit the downpayment.

Cancelations made less than 72 hours before the trip will forfeit any downpayment made, unless for emergency and health reasons.
In the event of bad weather with the trip being canceled 14 days prior to the trip, a full refund will be issued. However, Metro Divers is not liable for costs incurred in changing or rebooking any flights or accommodations.

Dive Travel

Tubbataha Reef Liveaboard Expedition
Reservation and Payment
1.1. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a 50% non refundable and non transferable deposit of the total package price.
1.2. The required deposit must be paid within fifteen (15) days from the date of booking confirmation or invoice issuance. Failure to pay within this period may result in the automatic release of the reservation without prior notice.
1.3. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than sixty (60) days before the scheduled departure date. Failure to settle the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of all payments made.
Cancellation by Guest
2.1. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by the person who made the booking.
2.2. Due to the advance commitments required for liveaboard charter operations, the following cancellation charges shall apply:
More than ninety (90) days before departure: 10% of the total package price will be deducted from the deposit. The remaining deposit, if any, will be refunded.
Ninety (90) to forty six (46) days before departure: 20% of the total package price will be charged.
Forty five (45) days or less before departure: 100% of the total package price will be forfeited.
2.3. Reservations are non transferable to another departure date unless approved in writing by Metro Divers and the liveaboard operator. Any approved transfer may be subject to applicable administrative or operator fees.
2.4. If a replacement guest acceptable to Metro Divers is found before departure, Metro Divers may, at its sole discretion, allow the booking to be transferred, subject to any fees imposed by the liveaboard operator and administrative processing fees.
Cancellation or Changes by Metro Divers or the Liveaboard Operator
3.1. If the trip is cancelled by Metro Divers or the liveaboard operator due to operational reasons, insufficient participants, vessel issues, government restrictions, force majeure, or unsafe weather conditions, guests shall receive a refund of all amounts paid to Metro Divers for the trip.
3.2. Metro Divers shall not be responsible for any consequential expenses incurred by guests, including but not limited to airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation, visa costs, equipment rentals, loss of income, or other incidental expenses. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
3.3. The itinerary, dive sites, schedule, and number of dives may be modified without prior notice if deemed necessary by the vessel captain or operator due to weather, sea conditions, park regulations, safety considerations, or operational requirements. Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
Weather and Safety
4.1. Safety is the highest priority throughout the expedition. The vessel captain has absolute authority regarding navigation, itinerary changes, dive cancellations, or early return to port whenever safety requires.
4.2. No refunds or partial refunds shall be given for missed dives or itinerary changes resulting from weather conditions, sea conditions, government regulations, medical emergencies, or safety decisions made by the captain or dive management.
Medical Fitness
5.1. Guests are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate in scuba diving activities.
5.2. Guests with any medical condition, recent illness, injury, pregnancy, or medication that may affect diving must obtain written medical clearance from a physician before the trip.
5.3. Metro Divers, the vessel operator, and their staff shall not be liable for any injury, illness, medical emergency, evacuation, or death arising from a guest’s undisclosed or pre existing medical condition.
Diving Requirements
6.1. Guests must possess the minimum certification and diving experience required by the liveaboard operator for Tubbataha expeditions.
6.2. Guests are responsible for ensuring that their certification cards, logbooks, passports, and any required travel documents remain valid throughout the trip.
6.3. The dive leader and vessel captain reserve the right to restrict or refuse participation in any dive if they determine that a guest’s certification level, experience, physical condition, or conduct presents a safety risk.
Liability
7.1. Participation in scuba diving and liveaboard expeditions involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, decompression sickness, equipment failure, adverse weather, and marine hazards.
7.2. Guests shall sign all required Liability Release, Assumption of Risk, Medical Statement, and other documents required by Metro Divers, the liveaboard operator, and the training agency before the commencement of the trip.
7.3. Metro Divers acts as the trip organizer and booking agent. Transportation, vessel operations, accommodations, and other third party services are provided by independent operators. Metro Divers shall not be liable for acts, omissions, delays, or failures of such third party providers beyond its reasonable contro
Dive/ Travel Insurance
8.1. Metro Divers strongly recommends that every guest obtain comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon booking.
8.2. Guests are also strongly encouraged to maintain valid dive accident insurance such as DAN or equivalent for the duration of the expedition.
Acceptance of Terms
9.1. Payment of any deposit or portion of the package price constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
9.2. Metro Divers reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions when necessary. The version in effect at the time of booking shall govern the reservation.
